We handle the acquisition and sale of apartment buildings, office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, industrial properties and land, as well as townhouses, coops and condominiums. We are experienced with the due diligence issues related to each of these property types.

Financing
We represent borrowers in mortgage and mezzanine financing. We also have experience representing lenders in these transactions.

Leasing
The firm negotiates leases on behalf of landlords and tenants. We have handled leases ranging in size from 2,500 to 40,000 square feet with a variety of uses, including: offices, clothing stores, bookstores, restaurants and spas.

Joint Ventures
We negotiate and draft joint venture agreements on behalf of operators and investors. We advise clients on
distribution waterfalls, clawbacks, buy-sell rights and other important considerations.

Development
The firm represents developers in multifamily, condominium, hotel and mixed-use projects. We have particular expertise in negotiating partnership and management agreements associated with these projects.

Foreign Investment in US Real Estate
We represent foreign buyers (both individual and institutional) in the acquisition and sale of real estate located in the United States. We advise on transfer tax, estate tax and other issues unique to non-resident owners.
